The Historic Downtown
Business Association, (HDABA), is a collective group of businesses with
the goal of exposing Anniston to Calhoun County residents and visitors
alike. Anniston has a unique blend of Restaurants, Bars, Retail Stores,
Professional Services, History, and many other area Attractions. Businesses
are invited to join our Association which includes being added to our web
site. This will help you promote your company, sales or services, as well
as any events you may promote or sponsor. We encourage participation, not
only in the Downtown area of Anniston, but in all areas of our fine city.
Help us make and keep Anniston a place to work, shop, and play, for all
of our residents and our welcomed visitors!
The Spirit of Anniston
has been the downtown revitalization organization for the city of Anniston
since 1993. In that time, a dozen buildings have been restored, new businesses
and restaurants have been started, loft apartments created, and millions
of dollars invested in the downtown area.
The Spirit’s efforts
continue with a renewed emphasis on marketing downtown to the region, the
creation of heritage tourism attractions, and supporting existing businesses.

more information on the Spirit’s upcoming plans, please call 256-236-0996.
